Remembrance

Remember and tell

READ IN YOUR BIBLE

Psalm 77:11–15

Read the whole passage, noticing who is speaking, to whom, and why.

Begin with the Word

In a psalm that includes distress, the writer deliberately remembers God’s works. Read the surrounding verses as well. Remembering is not a denial of difficulty; it can be a way of turning toward God within it. As you begin the day, choose one way to carry this truth with you.

Consider

  1. What does the writer choose to remember, and why might that matter?
  2. How does this passage shape your responsibilities, relationships, and life with the men in your group?
  3. What is one specific response you can make today?
TODAY’S PRACTICE

Recall one concrete example of God’s faithfulness and share it with someone.

A prayer for today

Father, help us receive Your Word with humility. Shape our thoughts, words, and actions through what we have read. Give us grace to respond faithfully and to love the people You have placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.
